Oxford CBT
Therapy designed to embrace life
Our experienced therapists and psychologists work together with you, at your pace, to empower your journey to wellness.

CBT
Cognitive behavioral therapy
CBT is a talking therapy designed to help people manage their problems by changing the way they think and behave. It aims to encourage us to become more aware of negative thoughts and of the behavioural patterns which reinforce our unhelpful thinking.
ADHD and Autism
ADHD & Autism Screening and Assessments
We offer specialist assessments and support for individuals with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). These neurodevelopmental conditions can affect focus, behaviour, learning, and social interaction, and are experienced differently by each person. While neither ADHD nor Autism can be “cured,” effective therapies and tailored support can make a significant difference in day-to-day life. To begin, we offer a Screening Consultation with one of our experienced clinicians to explore your concerns, identify potential signs of ADHD or Autism, and determine the most appropriate next steps—whether that’s a full assessment, signposting, or additional support. Our goal is to help individuals and families better understand their needs and feel confident in the path forward.
DBT
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
DBT is based on a combination of both acceptance and change strategies, which together increase more helpful and adaptive behaviour. DBT has its roots in traditional CBT and is concerned with the same elements as CBT.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
EMDR is an innovative psychotherapy treatment to help people who are experiencing distress and other difficult symptoms as a result from a trauma, also known as PTSD.
CBT-E
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders
These therapies have been adapted from CBT to specifically work for eating disorders and share the approach of encouraging behavioural change to address the thoughts and emotions that underpin eating disorder.
Coaching & Wellness
If you would like to stay on top of your mental wellbeing or needing extra support and are not experiencing any severe mental health conditions then coaching or general check-in booster sessions can be helpful for you.

Nicole R.2025-07-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very disappointing therapy service. My daughter has been let down twice by Oxford CBT. Rob Ford2025-06-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Oxford CBT provided an overall very positive and welcoming experience. I did not feel judged throughout and felt a genuine care from the psychiatrists. Mr Drew led my first consultation which I left feeling positive as the meeting environment was relaxing and I felt able to share freely. My main assessing psychiatrist throughout was Dr Upasana Bondopadhyay, whom provided an overall excellent and thorough assessment. The assessor was very open minded and fantastic at listening and remembering all my information. The provided report I gained was very sufficient and worded in a very positive and understanding framework, which I appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend Oxford CBT for those seeking an ASD assessment due to very friendly and understanding staff and the swift process. I feel I have a much greater understanding of myself now. Denitsa Filipova2025-05-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have a had a fantastic experience so far, excellent communication and fantastic clinicians. I would highly recommend. They answered all of our questions and made us, and our son, feel relaxed and at ease. Sarah Scott2024-11-21Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was so nervous going to my first appointment but Alex made me feel at ease straight away. After resisting CBT for years, I can honestly say it was one of the best things I could have done for my mental health (apart from laying on a tropical beach 😆) Alex enabled me to see thing a different way and helped me learn coping strategies for when life throws rubbish at you. I picked Alex because she is a dog lover like me and I think having a common interest helped me, she also has a fun sense of humour which helped relax me. Thank you Alex 😌 John Sargent2024-03-22Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thought provoking but not easy Kate Hardie2024-01-29Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Naomi consistently makes me feel comfortable and reassured and goes out of her way to help outside of the issues I originally came to her with using her knowledge and experience to help recognise underlying problems and find solutions.
